1. Information We Collect
FuelPocket is designed to operate primarily as an offline-first mobile utility. We do not maintain remote application servers, and we do not collect or aggregate your fuel logs, vehicle odometer details, fuel types, or location notes.
All data entered into the application (such as logs, vehicle metrics, and custom station names) is stored locally on your device in a secure SQLite database.
2. Google Drive Cloud Integration
If you choose to enable the Google Drive Backup utility, the application will request access to save backup archives directly to your personal Google Drive account in a designated space (`fuelpocket_backup.json`).
This connection is established directly between your device and Google's servers. FuelPocket does not receive, view, or store your Google account credentials, backup payloads, or authentication tokens.
3. Local Storage and Data Preservation
All settings, premium configurations, and transactions are preserved inside local storage files:
- SQLite Database (Room): Preserved under the system file path `fuellog.db`.
- SharedPreferences / DataStore: Preserved under keys `fuellog_settings` and `fuellog_prefs`.
Deleting the application or clearing storage will permanently erase all local records unless a Google Drive backup has been created.
4. Google Play Billing and Payments
Transactions for premium upgrades are managed entirely through the official Google Play Billing system. Payment details, card details, and subscription transactions are processed directly by Google. FuelPocket only queries Google Play locally on the device to verify premium license status.
5. Third-Party Libraries and Frameworks
The application uses basic Google Play Services libraries for cloud sync and payment validation. These services may collect certain device telemetry data in compliance with Google Play Store developer guidelines.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
